England 1979. After witnessing the accidental death of his parents, 11 year-old Brian Lair is taken into an institution. Confounding his Doctors, Brian insists that the tragedy was no accident and more mystifyingly that he is a lizard. As each attempt to get through to him fails, Brian becomes increasingly antisocial and withdrawn. Is Brian a lost cause? Or can a sinister late night visitor succeed in reaching him before it’s too late?
